The Poisonwood Bible
by Barbara Kingsolver
Review of The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver
This book was recommended by a friend to exemplify a format I wanted to try in my own writing. The
format worked for Kingsolver because she developed her characters so magnificently. The story is far from ordinary, but there
were identifyable personalities sometimes magnified by the setting in the Congo. It isn't an easy read, but there is much
to mull over after the last page. I guess the word is memorable.
